Mixing is the art of combining the individual instruments, and vocals into a stereo 2 channel mix file. Because recording equipment is so affordable these days, a lot of people are recording their own projects at home. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, they find out they can’t get the drum or guitar sound they want, so they end up coming to professionals that have spent 20 or 30 years learning these techniques. That’s where we come in. Our clients come to us to get a professional sounding product. We have several different price packages. Recording an album is like buiding a house. How much does it cost to build a house? How much do you want to spend, how lavish do you want it to be? Do you want to work in a studio that has every microphone ever made, and every expensive piece of outboard gear ? You can make a good album without spending tens of thousands of dollars, but there are limitations. The most important element in the formula is the engineer. We can put together a package tailored to suit your budget. There are several different engineers available, depending on the type of music you do. Some of our clients record all of the tracks at home, and either send it to us in a wav, or SDII format to mix for them.
